One of our oldest friends of the store is having a celebration -  and you’re invited! 

Join us on April 4th, 2026, as we welcome award-winning creator Stan Yan for a very special event. We’ll be celebrating the “birthday” of his newest character, Eugenia Wang!

Eugenia is a 12-year-old who’s never celebrated her birthday because of her Mom’s deep belief in the Chinese superstition that Four is an unlucky number! 

Stop by on Saturday from 2 - 4 PM to meet Stan Yan and pick up a copy of his incredible new book, The Many Misfortunes of Eugenia Wang. The first 44 books sold will include an exclusive birthday bookplate - available only at this event!
