What do I need to do to set up a Hold Slot?
Set Up
If you have a MORE! Rewards Account - We don't need anymore info. Your Rewards Account will switch to a Hold Slot Account. You will be assigned a Hold Slot # and we will keep your comics in that Hold Slot for to pick up at your convenience.
If you do NOT have a MORE! Rewards Account - We will need your First and Last Name, Your Email Address and a Phone Number to get you started! You will be assigned a Hold Slot # and we will keep your comics in that Hold Slot for to pick up at your convenience.
Requirements
Communication -You will need an active email address. All Hold Slot communications are done through email. Adding or removing or replacing covers.
Title Minimum - We ask that you have at least 5 ongoing titles to start a pull. If you can't come up with 5 titles, we suggest visiting the FOC page or New Release Page to pick up the couple of issues you need each month and we will hold them under your name behind the counter when they arrive.
Picking Up Your Comics - We require you to pick your comics up within 30 Days. We understand it can be sometimes hard to get into the shop every 30 days, we can work with you by sending an invoice through our website! You can pay for your comics and we can hold them until you get in! As long as these are picked up your Hold Slot will be in Good Standing. If comics are held beyond 45 days you will be Delinquent Status.

Free To Join - Our Hold Slot program requires NO MONEY to get started and No Monthly fee!
Request Multiple Copies - Need One Copy for you, and One copy for you Personal Collection? Maybe need a 3rd copy for your best friend? No problem! Using our FOC Page as a guideline you are welcome to order multiple copies before the Cut-Off Date! We enforce a 1 per customer rule after that deadline but you can still grab every cover available!
Suggestions-To help serve our customer base and keep you up to date on your favorite characters a Hold slot member will automatically be pulled for "like minded" titles. For example - When “Batman and Robin Year One” was released, we added anyone who was already on the “Batman and Robin Ongoing series”. These "Suggestion" titles are not committed and can be removed by responding to your weekly email or by letting us know in the store within Seven Days.
Stay In The Know - Each week before New Comic Book Day, you will get an email detailing everything pulled for you. This includes things like: Suggestions, Delays, and First Come First Serve limited items!
Priority Placement - If for any reason a comic book title has been damaged or shorted from the publisher, Hold Slot members are put on a priority list and are welcome to our First Come, First Served Limited items.
Purchasing Website Items in Store! - As a Hold Slot Member you can shop our website items and have them pulled to purchase in store later!
30 Day holds - You can hold comics for 30 days!
Artist Requests - If you like a specific artist we can make sure you don’t miss them! Feel free to mention the artist and we will order all “Open Order” Variants for you!
Ordering MORE!
If you would like Variants we can also accommodate! Below are tips for ordering or pulling those!
Open Order Variants - If you are just looking for ongoing variants you can request by saying “ALL B Covers” or “ALL C Covers”. You can request “ALL COVERS” as well. This will apply to anything that is: Open Order ( Price points for open order variants are usually $1.00 higher than the basic cover!) This addition does not include Ratio Variants, FOC Reveals or One-per Store Copies. Make sure to stay informed on those to request them when they release!
Keep Up on what you want- We try to purchase a vast majority of comics but we do often pass on available variants from publishers. It’s important to remember Comic Book Printings are ordered 3 Months In Advance! This allows the publisher to print to order and not print any unnecessary extras. If you are looking for something specific, stay in the know with our FOC page (link above)!
Ratio / Exclusive Covers / FOC Reveal - Comic books have different variant combinations like Ratio's. These comics can only be purchased if we hit a certain number of orders. If you would like a Ratio, simply request through the store and we will let you know any steps required to obtain them! Exclusives, are comics that are only available to a specific Store selling them. We will not be able to fulfill those requests (Unless it is our exclusive of course!). FOC Reveal Variants are Variants not available until the day of the order. This means that most of the time retailers don't know about them until we order them! When these do become available you can request the day of!
Character Specific - One of the benefits of being a part of the Hold Slot Program is getting “Suggestions” as stated above. This won’t necessarily guarantee you will get every appearance of your favorite character however, as limitations leave us working with Comic Titles only! Make sure to keep up on your hero (or villain, we won’t judge!) and request anything you see missing!
Ending your Hold Slot
Even the best stories can come to an end. Here are a few ways your Hold Slot can come to a close.
Closing A Hold Slot - We are here to help when you are ready to set up a Hold slot and when it’s time to close it! When the time comes to change, all you have to do is contact the store (In person, over the phone, or email) and request to have your hold slot closed. We ask that you pay for all comics in your hold slot at that time. You will NOT be held responsible for comic books previously ordered (Remember comics are ordered 3 months in advance). We will take that burden to help you accommodate your new path!
Delinquent Status - We ask that you pick your comic books up within 30 days. Any Comics held more than than that, will put your Hold Slot into a Delinquent Status. Once Delinquent, You won't be able to take advantage of any Store or Hold slot benefits, This could mean missing out on cool sales or bonus reward points! You will have a only 15 days to contact the store or get your Hold Slot back in good standing before it is closed automatically. If you fear you might lose your comics do to a delinquent status, feel free to reach out to the store. We will do our absolute best to work with you, and get the comics you love!
The Party Doesn’t Have To End! - All closed Hold Slots in “Good Standing” won’t lose any rewards points built with the store! They simply transfer from your Hold Slot to your MORE Rewards Account! Make sure and come back to use those points when you can!
