One of the under appreciated talents in writers is versatility. As comic book fans, we are exposed to a lot of insane talent and inspiring ideas. What happens more often than not, is watching a talent find their "niche" and then get "pigeon-holed" into a certain style that will generate money. I can't blame companies for this tactic, it is the number one goal when green lighting a new book. However, every so often we get a real gem in talent, when regardless of genre, scenery, or tone, success follows. I give you the great Tom King. Tom is no stranger to the spotlight and it does feel a bit "Hat on a hat" to promote him in my recommendation but, I really want people to experience the weightless joy ride that is Trinity.
The newly appointed creation of Tom and Belen Ortega. She is the long awaited pillar of the new age Trio, joining Damian Wayne, and Jon Kent. Her adventures are chaotic, emotional and engaging. She has mostly been hiding in the back of the award-winning series of Tom King and Daniel Sampere's Wonder Woman but now, (FINALLY) we get Trinity in her very own mini series featuring time-travel and an infinite array of Corgi's.
