Destiny meets Switchback and foresees the end of Avalon.\u003cbr\u003eNightcrawler and a hundred refugees are on a submarine bound for Avalon when the sub malfunctions and death threatens. The sub surfaces and the people are picked up by Callisto who agrees to complete their journey. Instead, she jettisons them into the ocean, killing them all. Nightcrawler attacks her and is assisted by his mother. Damask and her crew watch and wait to secretly follow Mystique to Avalon.\u003cbr\u003eNightcrawler is reunited with his mother. He and Mystique travel to Avalon and meet with Destiny where they learn of Avalon's imminent fall. Damask and Wade follow the heroes and arrive at Avalon themselves. Damask is enchanted by the hidden paradise and switches sides. She helps the heroes kill Wade and joins the battle to defend Avalon from Apocalypse.\u003cbr\u003eNightcrawler and his allies fight to drive the Shadow King out of Avalon before he kills everybody.
